About CompanyOS

Important operating knowledge should remain with the company.

CompanyOS is built by Zumasys, a software company founded in 2000 with long experience serving manufacturers and distributors.

We work with the people who know the business to capture its processes, decision rules, exceptions and practical knowledge. We connect that knowledge to relevant business data so employees and AI can use it as the company changes and grows.

Why we exist

A company can spend years building knowledge that never becomes a company asset.

Business systems hold orders, inventory records and work orders. SOPs and manuals document formal procedures. But the reason behind a decision, the exception for a particular customer and the workaround that keeps work moving can remain with a small number of experienced people.

When those employees change roles, retire or leave, the company can lose the practical judgment behind important work.

CompanyOS was created to capture that practical context, connect it to current business information and keep it available to employees and AI as the operation changes.

Where your people and AI work as one.

The company behind CompanyOS

Experience built through decades of business software.

Zumasys was founded in 2000 and has spent more than two decades building, supporting and modernizing business software.

Its work with ERP systems and business applications created deep experience with the records, processes and operating constraints of manufacturers and distributors.

CompanyOS builds on that experience. It captures the knowledge, rules and exceptions behind the work, connects them to business data and makes them usable by employees, AI assistants and operational apps.

How we work

Built with the people who know the operation.

CompanyOS is delivered as a managed platform. Our team leads discovery, defines a focused starting use and organizes the knowledge required for that work.

We connect approved business data and tools when the defined use requires them, then maintain the shared source as processes, responsibilities and exceptions change.

Customer process owners provide the practical knowledge, confirm the correct rules and exceptions and review the result. The people who understand the business make it accurate.

Delivery principlesWhat they mean in practice
01
Start with an operational need
Begin with a process, question or task that matters to the business rather than a broad instruction to use AI.
02
Learn how the work is performed
Use formal procedures as a foundation, then learn the practical steps and conditions that determine what happens in the operation.
03
Capture rules and exceptions
Document the standard process and the customer requirements, workarounds and unusual conditions that affect what happens next.
04
Use the company's terminology
Keep part numbers, role names, customer terms and operating language familiar to the people doing the work.
